MILLEESETTANTOTTO – TIMELESS CHARM AND THE PERFECT MATCH WITH TRUFFLE

November is the month of truffles, long regarded as one of the true protagonists of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition and beyond.

So, which wine best enhances their character and flavor? The answer is MilleEsettantotto by Usiglian del Vescovo.

Our estate, located in the heart of Palaia, has historically been devoted to truffle production, and MilleEsettantotto pairs perfectly with truffle-based dishes thanks to its complexity, structure, and refined bouquet.

The name of this wine is deeply rooted in our history: 1078 is the year when Matilda of Canossa donated the fiefdom of Usigliano to the Bishop of Lucca, marking a turning point that shaped its identity up to the present day.

With MilleEsettantotto, we wish to pay tribute to this event by creating a wine that represents the perfect synthesis of tradition and innovation.

MilleEsettantotto is produced through the gentle pressing of whole clusters of Chardonnay and Viognier grapes. Aging takes place in small oak barrels and subsequently in cocciopesto amphorae, contributing to the development of extraordinary complexity and elegance.

In the glass, the wine reveals a vibrant pale yellow color with delicate green highlights. The bouquet is fine and complex, while on the palate it offers perfect harmony between freshness and sweetness, supported by a structured body and long persistence.

MilleEsettantotto is the ideal companion for refined and spiced dishes, and it reaches its highest expression when paired with white truffle. Also perfect with mushroom risottos and white meats, this wine enhances every nuance of flavor, turning each gastronomic experience into an unforgettable journey.

This November, let yourself be captivated by the timeless charm of MilleEsettantotto and discover the perfect pairing with the finest products of our land.
